SYSTEM FOR WELD TRACEABILITY

By assigning a weld number unique to the job, you avoid complications should a weld be moved to another line. The details are retained despite the change of line and location.
When trying to find what is within a selection, via a 3d interface or GA of some sort, the system should tell you what items are within selection. Allow arbitrary selection volumes.
<rdf:Seq> useful for coordinates of a line? Also indicates flow/main direction. Indicate branches,instruments,valves. All those shown on the P&ID.
All NDT details are applied to a group of welds.
Use highlighted ISO to track progress, such as insulation and to plan method of construction.
Mark up drawings with material heat numbers or database IDs.
Reports viewable online. 1 weld per report or can be grouped onto one report.
Create test-case with 6 line, 2 each for 3 different systems, inlcuding different materials.
A line that does not have a drawing/location is not used.
Welds that are physically destroyed are flagged as such.
